For people who did not arrange for airport transfers to their resort or hotel in Boracay, it costs P225 per person to reach the port of Boracay upon arrival from Caticlan Airport.
Broken down as follows:
P25 Tricycle
P25 Boat Fare
P75 Environmental & Admission Fee
P100 Terminal Fee for Caticlan Jetty Port
Aklanons, or locals residing in Aklan are exempted from paying the Environmental & Terminal Fees. So make sure to pay the necessary fees before you enter the Jetty Ports on both sides if you are a visitor. Otherwise, you would have to walk all the way back outside at the entrance just to pay these fees.
Once you reach the port in Boracay, you now have a choice of taking a tricycle or a white multicab to the resort you will be staying in.
Please note that on the way back, there is also a P200 terminal fee at Godofredo Ramos (Caticlan) Airport that you have to shell out because it is not included in your airfare.
So make sure that you incorporate all these fees into your expense budget in planning your trip to the world’s best beach.
